Professor Marston and the Wonder Women is a witty biographical film, about psychology professor William Moulton Marston (Luke Evans), creator of the Wonder Woman comic books. Mostly set in 1940s, the plot centers around the polyamorous relationship between Marston, his wife Elizabeth (Rebecca Hall) and a woman named Olive Byrne (Bella Heathcote). It is also the story of the creation Wonder Woman and the public perception of the comics at the time.
I enjoyed the characters in this movie and learning the story behind Wonder Woman. The movie is witty, sharp, sexy
and well executed. The “what happened to them” and photographs at the end credits made me cry.
This movie will make you want to read comic books.
